01 / WHAT WE DO

A better way to work.
A product worth building.

Whether you’re creating a new product or replacing a tangle of spreadsheets, we bring the business need, the user experience and the technology together.

01

Apps for your customers.

Turn an idea into a mobile or web product people can understand and use. Shape the essential features before committing to a full build.

  • Product discovery & prototypes
  • Mobile & responsive web applications
  • Customer journeys & accessible interfaces
02

Tools for your business.

Give your team a clearer way to work. Replace repeated data entry and disconnected processes with applications built around the job.

  • Portals, approvals & operational workflows
  • Practical reporting & role-based access
03

Everything working together.

Connect the application to the systems you rely on, then test, launch and improve it with a clear plan for what comes next.

  • APIs & existing system integrations
  • Testing & launch preparation
  • Maintenance & ongoing improvement

02 / PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Experience shaped
by building.

Our own applications give us practical problems to work through: designing useful interfaces, handling information and making responsible release decisions.

01 / MOBILE APPLICATION

LabelCalm

In testing

Making ingredient information easier to work with.

A consumer application exploring ingredient-label scanning and matching. The development brings together a focused mobile experience, local-first data and clear presentation of information.

Development focus
Scanning journeys, ingredient matching, privacy-minded product design.
Current stage
Product in testing. A public launch or download is not confirmed here.
02 / APPLICATION RESEARCH

Cherished Circle /
Know My Memories

Research & discovery

Exploring more useful care and family workflows.

Product and market discovery into how applications could help care homes, residents and families manage information and everyday interactions.

Development focus
User needs, information flows and practical workflow design in a care context.
Current stage
Research and discovery. Not presented as a launched service.

Owned-product development within Dasher Consulting. No customer results or released-product availability are implied.

BUILT FOR HANDOVER, TOO

The application.
And the thinking behind it.

A working screen is only part of the outcome. We agree the supporting work your project needs, so decisions, responsibilities and the next step stay clear.

01 / DIRECTION

A scope you can review

Key users and journeys, essential features, dependencies and the questions to resolve before development.

02 / DELIVERY

Progress you can inspect

Designs, prototypes and working releases at agreed review points, with feedback informing the next stage.

03 / CONTINUITY

A practical handover

Agreed source-code access, setup information, operating responsibilities and a route for maintenance and improvement.

03 / HOW WE WORK

Clear steps.
Considered decisions.

A practical process with room to learn. Clear decisions, reviewable progress and the right foundations for your application.

Start with a conversation ↗
  1. 01

    Understand the need

Who is it for? What needs to work better? We explore your users, constraints and existing systems, then agree what a useful first version should do.

  2. 02

    Make the idea tangible

Map the key journeys and design the interface. Prototypes help you review the experience and test assumptions before development goes further.

  3. 03

    Build, connect and test

Develop the application in reviewable stages. Connect agreed systems and check usability, accessibility, permissions and the important end-to-end journeys.

  4. 04

    Launch with a plan

Prepare hosting or app-store submissions, documentation and handover. Agree release criteria, responsibilities and any external approvals required.

  5. 05

    Keep making it better

Use feedback to prioritise improvements. Agree maintenance and support around the application’s needs, with ongoing costs and responsibilities made clear.

04 / A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Questions before
the first step.

Do I need a complete specification?+

No. Start with the problem, who experiences it and what you want to improve. Discovery can help turn that into a clear scope and decide whether a prototype, a focused first release or another route makes sense.

Can you build both mobile and web apps?+

Yes. We consider the experience, device features, accessibility, budget and maintenance needs before recommending native mobile, web or a combination. The choice should follow what your users need.

Who owns the application and source code?+

Ownership, source-code access and handover are agreed in writing before work starts. The agreement will distinguish custom work from existing tools, third-party software and any licensing conditions.

Can it connect to our existing systems?+

We review the systems, available APIs, permissions and data requirements first. Integration scope depends on what those systems support, access approval and any supplier charges or restrictions.

What happens after launch?+

We agree who is responsible for hosting, updates, monitoring and support. Maintenance and improvements can be scoped separately, including operating costs and the process for requesting changes.

How do we work out cost and timing?+

Start with a conversation about the outcome, users and constraints. Once the scope and unknowns are understood, we can propose a suitable next step. Costs, milestones and assumptions are agreed before work begins.

LET’S MAKE SOMETHING USEFUL

Let’s define
what comes next.

A product idea. A process that could work better.
A tool you wish existed. Start there.
