Please do not include passwords, sensitive personal information or confidential customer material in an initial enquiry.

Lawful bases

We rely on legitimate interests to deliver and secure this website, answer requested business enquiries and manage relevant business relationships. The interests are responding to the request, discussing appropriate work and protecting business communications. Information should be limited to what is necessary for those purposes.

Where an individual asks for steps towards their own contract, or that contract is being performed, the contractual basis may apply. Records required by law are handled under the relevant legal obligation. We do not use an enquiry as permission for unrelated marketing.

Providers, recipients and international processing

Vercel hosts this static website and provides content delivery and security services. Microsoft provides our existing business email service. We do not operate a website enquiry database, analytics service or advertising system. Authorised business personnel handle correspondence; professional advisers or authorities may receive information where necessary for their role or a legal obligation.

These providers operate internationally, including in the United States and other locations used by their service providers. We do not claim that all processing stays in the UK. For relevant transfers, provider data-processing terms include standard contractual clauses and the UK international data transfer addendum. You can ask us for information about applicable safeguards. See Vercel’s data-processing terms and Microsoft’s data-processing terms.

Vercel also handles certain service-generated technical information for its own delivery, security and legal purposes as described in its privacy notice.

How long information is kept

We keep unsuccessful enquiries for no more than 12 months after the last substantive contact and remove them earlier when they are no longer needed. Specific contract, statutory or dispute requirements can justify keeping particular records longer, with the purpose and period documented separately. Removal from active records is distinct from a provider’s recovery, backup or legal-hold processes.

We do not export routine visitor logs into a separate contact database. Hosting technical records are retained according to the service’s operational and security needs, applicable provider terms and legal obligations; this is separate from our enquiry retention period. If we retain a specific incident record, we review it when the incident is resolved and keep only what remains necessary for security, legal or dispute purposes. Provider recovery, backup and legal-hold processes can retain restricted copies after active records are removed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing and receive portable information where that right applies. These rights are subject to the applicable conditions and exceptions. Where processing relies on consent, consent can be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Contact hello@dasher.consulting to make a request. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator.

Your right to object

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Email hello@dasher.consulting to explain your objection. We will consider whether the processing must stop under the applicable rules.

Your choices

You choose what to send. Without enough contact or project information, we may be unable to answer meaningfully. We do not use this website for automated decisions about people or for profiling.
